LUXELAKE BRIDGE

As a part of an emerging development in the Schezuan Province, the client asked for a series of conceptual design for bridges that could be employed throughout the site. The LuxeLake development is defined by series of undulating islands and peninsulas separated by water, bridges in this new city are critical component — there will be over 200 — both as a functional element and as an iconic identity to LuxeLake. The design inspirations came from its famous Bamboo Forest, local noodle culinary arts and undulating rice farms that are prevalent throughout the site. These ideas influenced the design to create modern bridges that redefine the city and make it cohesive to the ever growing sophistication of its users.
