As Caltech kicks off their new academic year, we celebrate the grand opening of the Resnick Sustainability Center (RSC), a remarkable addition to their campus that embodies commitment to tackling the pressing challenges of sustainability.

Fueled by a generous $750 million gift from Lynda and Stewart Resnick, the RSC stands as a transformative hub for research and education in sustainability. The four-story building brings together brilliant minds from across disciplines, fostering collaboration and innovation in areas such as solar energy, remote sensing, and ecological engineering.

With cutting-edge facilities, including state-of-the-art laboratories and active-learning classrooms, the RSC will enhance the educational experience for all Caltech undergraduates. Every student in the class of 2028 will have the opportunity to engage in hands-on sustainability research from day one!

We are proud to have been part of this impactful and transformative initiative.
