LH HEADQUARTERS

The office tower wrapped on three sides by a plinth that contains the majority of the project’s amenities. Program elements are woven together to mitigate the difference of scales between the office tower and the town center. The wrapping form of the podium creates a gateway fronting the formal entry drive. This orientation and building form catch favorable summer winds while blocking winter wind to maximize the use of the courtyard space. A city green space flows from this formal entry to create a series of green fingers that act to stitch the site halves together from urban core to the river’s edge. The site is further connected through a lower level of program that connects the office complex to the east with the sports complex to the west.
